Lico Lion as the Vocal of a Rock Band,
and Katsuo as a Hip Hop DJ, before their activities as N.R.S.
In 2006, they won the audition STARZ
hosted by avex, rhythm zone,
out of 5000 groups.
The following year, they made their major debut
with "LIFE STYLE" from avex, rhythm zone.
Fascinated by the tough message of Reggae,
the two are particular about their lyrics,
and their message of loving family, friends, hometown, and music
moves the hearts of plenty of people.
In their hometown of Fukuoka,
they receive enthusiastic support from various fields,
such as their songs being used as the entrance music for SoftBank Hawks player Seiji Uebayashi,
and as the stage music for Hakata Hanadaikichi.
